A 'makerspace' is a place where students can gather to create, invent, tinker, explore and discover using a variety of tools and materials. In our Maker workshops we use a variety of tools and cover many subjects:
Chibitronics use circuit stickers and other tools to create paper circuits, which blend circuit building and programming with arts and crafts. It's a fun way to learn, design and create your own electronics.
Squishy Circuits, ideal for younger leaners, use conductive play dough and insulating play dough to introduce electrical circuits to learners in a fun, hands-on way. Let your creations come to life as you light them up with LEDs, make some noise with buzzers, and spin with motors!
Kids can learn engineering via 3D puzzles, straws, 3D pens and other exciting tools.
Learners will also have workshops with Makey Makey, an easy-to-use invention kit that's perfect for inventors of all ages. We believe that everyone is creative, inventive, and imaginative. And we truly believe that, with a little bit of help, everyone can create the future and change the world!
